I Did 8 of the 10 Houses at HHN 35 in One Night

I went to Halloween Horror Nights 35 on September 3, 2026 and got through eight of the ten houses in one night. The two I did not make it to were Hellraiser and Cybergoria.
We bought Express, and yes, it was worth it for us. We still waited: some houses were about 10 minutes, and others were around 15 to 20. Without it, we would not have been able to get through so many.

What Express was actually like on my visit
Express did not mean walking straight into every house. We had waits of about 10 minutes at some and 15 to 20 at others. For us, that made it possible to do eight houses in a night, which is why I felt the extra cost was worth it.
Those were our waits on September 3. Crowds and wait times can be different on another night.
There are two details to check before you buy. According to Universal's official HHN guide, standard HHN Express gives you access to a shorter queue once per haunted house and participating attraction. It is not unlimited repeat access. You also need a separate Halloween Horror Nights event ticket.
My favorites: Stranger Things and Ozzy
Stranger Things 5 and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness were tied for my favorite house of the night. If you are asking which ones stood out to me from the eight I did, those are my two.
A few things to check before your night
- Check both tickets. Event admission and Express are separate. Make sure each is valid for the date you plan to visit.
- Choose comfortable shoes. There is walking and standing between houses, so plan for comfort.
- Check the costume rules. Universal does not allow costumes or costume masks on regular HHN event nights. Premium Scream Night has a separate costume exception, but costume masks are still not allowed. Check the rules for your specific ticket.
