My kitchen is not fancy. I do not have a drawer full of single-use gadgets that I bought and never touched again. What I do have is a small handful of tools that pull their weight every single day, feeding two kids and myself without losing my mind before noon.

The workhorses I could not cook without

This is the one I use most, hands down. Frozen nuggets, roasted veggies, reheating pizza so it is crispy instead of sad, crisping up tofu and chicken for me. It is fast, it does not heat up my whole kitchen in the Florida summer, and cleanup is nothing. My most-earned counter space by far.

For me, absolutely. It is the one gadget I use daily, and it genuinely gets dinner on the table faster on the nights I have nothing left. If you cook for kids or reheat leftovers a lot, it earns its spot. If you rarely cook, you might not use it enough to justify it.
