SeaWorld Spooktacular With Little Kids (2026 Guide)

Little kids in costume trick-or-treating on a sunny walkway with friendly pumpkins at a marine theme park
Daytime, sweet, and never scary. This is my pick for the littlest trick-or-treaters in Orlando.

If you have a toddler who lights up at pumpkins but bursts into tears at anything remotely spooky, SeaWorld's Spooktacular is the Orlando Halloween event I point you to first. It is a gentle, colorful, daytime celebration that is included with regular park admission, so there is no separate ticket and no fighting bedtime. As an Orlando mom, this is the easiest, lowest-stress Halloween outing on my list for little ones. Here is what to expect.

2026 dates

Spooktacular runs on select dates from August 29 through November 1, 2026, during regular park hours. Because it is a daytime event folded into your normal visit, you can do the Halloween fun and the animals and rides all in one relaxed day.

Why it is perfect for the littlest ones

My tips for a smooth day

Go earlier in the day before the Florida heat and the nap window hit. Dress your little one in a costume they can comfortably walk and sweat in, and bring a stroller or wagon so tired legs have a landing spot. Pack water and a snack, and hit the trick-or-treat trail first while everyone is fresh. Then let the animals and gentler rides fill the rest of the day.

Want the full Disney party too?

If your kids are a little older or ready for the nighttime magic, Mickey's Not-So-Scary is the bigger family event, and I broke it all down in my Mickey's Not-So-Scary guide. For every not-scary option around town, see my family Halloween in Orlando guide. And for a normal (non-Halloween) day, here is my SeaWorld with toddlers guide.

Frequently asked questions

Not at all. It is a gentle, colorful daytime event with a trick-or-treat trail, friendly characters, and pumpkins. There are no scares, fog machines, or spooky effects, so it is ideal for toddlers and little kids.

Do I need a separate ticket?

No. Spooktacular is included with regular SeaWorld Orlando admission, so the Halloween fun is part of your normal day at the park.

Can my toddler trick-or-treat there?

Yes. There is a trick-or-treat trail through the park, and kids are welcome to come in costume. It is a sweet, low-key way to do their first trick-or-treating.
